Product Description
The HIOKI SP9250 Clamp-type Probe Set is designed for use with the SP7001 CAN-FD Sensor and the SP7100 or SP7150 CAN Interface to enable non-contact detection of CAN and CAN FD signals through cable insulation. Using capacitive coupling technology, the two probes detect the differential signal through the insulation of the CAN H and CAN L lines without requiring direct electrical contact or any modification of the wiring.
The clamp-type design allows quick and secure attachment, even in confined wiring spaces, enabling fast setup and reliable signal detection without altering the cable harness. This makes the SP9250 ideal for laboratory measurements, system evaluation, and troubleshooting during development and testing, where frequent connection and removal are required.
Each set includes two probes, corresponding to one CAN bus connection (CAN H and CAN L). When combined with the SP7001 CAN-FD Sensor and a compatible CAN interface, the SP9250 provides accurate, non-intrusive monitoring of CAN and CAN FD communication under real operating conditions.
Designed for operation in temperatures ranging from -40 °C to +85 °C, the SP9250 offers a robust and user-friendly solution for contactless CAN and CAN FD signal acquisition in automotive development, prototyping, validation, and testing environments.
