The HIOKI L9845-52 is a 50 m red test lead supplied on a cable reel for earth resistance measurement applications. In a typical earth measurement setup, it is used as the lead for the current probe. The included removable crocodile clip enables connection to auxiliary earth spikes, while mechanical compatibility with the L9846 Earth Nets Module allows use on concrete and other hard surfaces where earth spikes cannot be inserted directly.
The cable reel measures approximately 28 × 18 × 7 cm (H × W × D), providing a practical solution for transportation, storage, and field use. Both ends of the lead are fitted with 4 mm safety connectors for compatibility with HIOKI earth testing systems and accessories.
The removable crocodile clip can be attached directly to the cable reel for convenient storage. Optional holders for L9840 Auxiliary Earth Spikes allow the lead and earth spike to be carried together as a single unit. A foldable winding handle simplifies cable management and enables quick rewinding after measurements are completed.
The L9845-52 is supplied as a standard accessory with the FT6041 and FT6041-91 Earth Testers. With a lead resistance of approximately 100 mΩ per meter, it is designed for earth resistance measurements where lead resistance has minimal influence on test results. It is not intended for precision low-resistance measurements.
