The HIOKI L9845-33 is a blue 25 m test lead supplied on a cable reel for extended earth measurement setups with the FT6041 Series. It is typically used as an auxiliary lead on the potential side of the measurement circuit. With the included removable crocodile clip, the lead can be used both with auxiliary earth spikes and with the L9846 Earth Nets Module.
The cable reel measures approximately 28 × 18 × 7 cm (H × W × D), making it easy to transport and store. Both ends of the lead are equipped with 4 mm safety connectors. The removable crocodile clip can be attached directly to the reel during transport and storage, helping keep all components together.
Optional holders for L9840 Auxiliary Earth Spikes are available, allowing the lead and earth spike to be carried as a single assembly. A foldable winding handle simplifies cable management and makes rewinding the lead quick and convenient after measurements have been completed.
The L9845-33 is included as a standard accessory with the FT6041 and FT6041-91 Earth Testers. With a lead resistance of approximately 100 mΩ per meter, it is designed for earth resistance measurements where lead resistance has only a minor influence on the measurement result. It is not intended for precision low-resistance measurements.
