Remote Switch Lead Set for HIOKI Insulation Testers

The L9788-11 is a test lead set for HIOKI insulation testers. It includes the red L9788-10 test lead with integrated remote switch and LED illumination, as well as a black 1.2 m test lead with 4 mm connectors.
The L9788-10 allows insulation measurements to be started directly from the probe, eliminating the need to operate the instrument while positioning the test leads. This helps keep both hands on the installation or test object, supporting secure probe placement during measurement. The integrated LED illumination is linked to the insulation tester’s display backlight and provides additional visibility when working in poorly lit distribution boards, control panels, and technical rooms.
The black test lead is equipped with one straight and one right-angle 4 mm connector for flexible connection. It is supplied with a detachable black probe tip and a detachable black alligator clip, allowing adaptation to different measurement tasks and connection points.
With the tip covers attached, the lead set is rated for CAT III 600 V. Without the tip covers, the rating is CAT II 600 V.
The L9788-11 is compatible with HIOKI digital insulation testers IR4053, IR4056, IR4057-50, IR4057-90, and IR4059. It is also compatible with the 3490, IR4016, IR4017, and IR4018 analog insulation testers, as well as the FT4310 Bypass Diode Tester.
