The HIOKI CM4375-50 Clamp Multimeter is designed for professionals who often work in confined installation spaces and need precise AC/DC current measurement. With a wide 1000 A range and True RMS accuracy, it is ideal for industrial power distribution, machinery, and EV charging systems. Its narrow jaws accommodate conductors up to 34 mm in diameter, while the compact front end with a jaw cross-sectional minimum dimension of 9.5 mm helps when access between adjacent conductors is limited.
Voltage measurement up to 1000 V AC/DC covers most applications. When paired with the optional P2010 High Voltage Probe, the instrument can measure up to 2000 V DC in CAT III environments, enabling safe testing of photovoltaic strings and high voltage batteries. True RMS technology ensures accurate results even with distorted waveforms.
Beyond current and voltage, the HIOKI CM4375-50 also functions as a versatile multimeter: it measures resistance, capacitance, continuity, diode polarity check, and DC power. This makes it suitable for work on photovoltaic systems, batteries, and other DC installations where current, voltage, and power need to be checked together. For additional temperature measurements, the instrument can be combined with a K thermocouple such as the optional DT4910 Thermocouple (K). The measurement range lies between -40 °C and 400 °C.
Automatic AC/DC detection and advanced display options such as Max/Min/Avg, PEAK values, filter function, manual/auto hold, and pass/fail judgement simplify daily tasks and save time.
The included L9300 test leads are designed with the user in mind. Their slide type mechanism allows the metal tips to be extended or retracted, making removable caps and the risk of losing them a thing of the past. This simplifies handling and enables a safe switch between short tips for higher CAT ratings and fully extended tips for tight measurement points. The display backlight makes readings easier in poorly lit distribution boards, control cabinets, and service environments. The operating temperature range from -25 °C to 65 °C also supports work in exposed outdoor locations and in installations with increased ambient temperatures.
With the optional Z3210 Bluetooth Adapter, measured values can be transferred directly to a smartphone or tablet. In combination with the free GENNECT Cross app for Android and iOS, values can be stored, assigned to measurement points, and used for later documentation. In addition, the Z3210 supports direct entry of measured values into Excel, spreadsheet software, or other input-based applications.
The CM4375-50 complies with CAT IV 600 V / CAT III 1000 V, and with the P2010 it also supports CAT III 2000 V. Its rugged housing is rated IP54 for dust and splash resistance, ensuring safe operation on construction sites and in harsh outdoor conditions.
HIOKI’s decades of experience with clamp meters, clamp multimeters, current sensors and current clamps form the basis for the CM4375-50. Manufactured at HIOKI’s own factories in Nagano Prefecture, Japan, it combines precise measurements with a slim, cleanly finished clamp for confined installation spaces.
