The portable battery tester BT3554-52 is a set consisting of the BT3554-50 instrument and the L2020 Angled Pin Type Lead. It is the latest addition to HIOKI's portfolio of portable battery testers, drawing on expertise since HIOKI's first battery tester was introduced in 1986. This versatile tester supports two voltage ranges (6 V and 60 V) and four resistance ranges (3 mΩ to 3 Ω), ensuring compatibility with a wide variety of battery sizes and capacities. Batteries do not need to be disconnected from the system for measurement, which significantly simplifies the testing process and also saves time.
With a measurement speed of less than two seconds, this portable battery tester is ideal for use in tight or hard-to-reach areas. Additionally, HIOKI's noise reduction technology ensures accurate measurements even in noisy environments. The integrated comparator function (PASS, WARNING, FAIL) provides instant assessment of the battery status based on user-defined thresholds.
The BT3554-52 simplifies work with its practical data management features. Up to 6000 measurement records can be stored in its internal memory, and when paired with the optional Z3210 Bluetooth adapter, measurement data can be wirelessly transferred to a smartphone or tablet. The free GENNECT Cross app enables real-time data analysis, report generation, and transfer of pass/fail profiles to the tester, enhancing efficiency for maintenance teams.
A USB interface allows the battery tester to connect to a PC for convenient management of measurement data. The free GENNECT One Windows software lets users control the device as well as transfer and process measurement values. Alternatively, measurement values can be sent directly to an Excel sheet by setting the battery tester as a Human Interface Device (HID) on the PC.
The wide range of measurement accessories includes various test leads for different battery contacts or test contacts as well as for diverse installation scenarios. The BT3554-52 is designed for field use and features convenient auto-hold and auto-memory functions that automatically detect new measurements and save results without requiring any input from the technician.
