Leakage currents in electrical installations can cause nuisance RCD trips, insulation faults, or unexpected shutdowns that are often difficult to locate. The HIOKI CM4001-90 combines the CM4001 AC leakage clamp meter with the Z3210 Bluetooth adapter in a single set, adding wireless communication for data transfer. The instrument measures currents from 600 μA to 600 A and captures both very small leakage currents and higher load currents in electrical installations. Slim jaws with a 24 mm opening allow measurements between closely spaced conductors in distribution panels and control cabinets.
